February 15, Fineko/abc.az. In 2023, the Nakhchivan General Customs Administration of the State Customs Committee carried out state registration of import operations for $130.9 million and export operations for $14.6 million, according to Department's annual report.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the document, compared with 2022, the cost of imports doubled, and the cost of exports increased 2.5-fold.

Import in Nakhchivan was carried out mainly from Türkiye, Iran, China, Germany and Brazil, while exports from Nakhichevan to Russia, Georgia, Yemen, Türkiye and Iran.

Cigarettes, food, construction materials and electricity were mainly exported from the NAR to foreign markets.
