February 16, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has cancelled the license of Azərsığorta OJSC, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the CBA.

Azərsığorta was established in 1991. On January 31, 2024, President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on cancellation of the decree from July 16, 2022 on organization of activity of Azərsığorta.

Based on the decree, by the decision of the CBA Board of Directors dated February 14, 2024, license #000270 from October 14, 2009, issued by Azərsığorta for insurance activity was canceled.
