February 16, Fineko/abc.az. In January 2024, Azerbaijan ranked 59th among 144 countries in terms of mobile Internet speed - 46.88 Mbit/s.

ABC.AZ reports that information about this is reflected in Speedtest Global Index study. The information says that Azerbaijan has maintained its position in terms of mobile Internet speed compared to the previous month.

The UAE took the 1st place in terms of mobile Internet speed (302.38 Mbit/s), and East Timor took the last place (144th place, 3.75 Mbit/s).

In January, Azerbaijan ranked 118th in the world in terms of the average speed of fixed broadband Internet access. This is 3 points less than in the previous month.
