February 19, Fineko/abc.az. The Azerbaijan Mortgage & Guarantee Loans Fund begins accepting applications for preferential mortgage loans from 11:00 on 23 February 2024.

ABC.AZ reports that the following persons are entitled to take advantage of mortgage benefits:

The following persons who are members of a young family:

Children of martyrs;

Children of the Hero of the Patriotic War of the Republic of Azerbaijan;

Children of the National Hero of Azerbaijan;

An internally displaced person or a person equated to him;

A person who has served in the civil service for at least 3 years, including those who served in a special type of public service;

A person who has worked as a teacher in a public educational institution for at least 3 years;

A person with a PhD degree;

A person with special merits in the field of sports (honorary figure of physical culture and sports, winner of national competitions (I place), winner of international competitions (I, II or III place);

A person who has worked as a journalist for at least 5 years and is listed in the media register.

A person with a PhD degree;

A person who has worked in the civil service for at least 15 years, including those who served in a special type of public service;

Military personnel of Azerbaijan who have been in military service for at least 3 years (except for military personnel of urgent active military service), as well as those discharged into reserve and retired (in accordance with the Law on Military Duty & Military Service", with the exception of military personnel discharged into reserve or retired in cases provided for by articles 41.0.6, 41.0.7, 41.0.8, 41.0.10, 42.0.3, 42.0.4, 42.0.5 and 42.0.5);

A person with a special rank who has served in the internal affairs bodies for at least 3 years;

Researchers who have worked in scientific positions for at least 3 years;

A person who has worked as a teacher in a public educational institution for at least 15 years;

A person who has worked as a journalist for at least 15 years and is listed in the media register;

A member of the family of the martyr (husband/wife);

Hero of the Patriotic War of the Republic of Azerbaijan (himself, husband/wife);

National Hero of Azerbaijan (himself, husband/wife).

Note: a family or an individual who is eligible for a preferential mortgage can use this right only once.
