February 19, Fineko/abc.az. Territories contaminated with oil and gas will be cleared in the Absheron region.

ABC.AZ reports that the grant to be funded by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), was allocated to the Usniya Nejati "Cleaning up the territories polluted by oil and gas on Absheron".

She won a scholarship and a grant program “Maria Skladovskaya-Curie”, one of the leading European programs in the field of science.

The project, prepared under the scientific guidance of Azmi Farhad Aliyev, senior lecturer at the Department of Ecology, provides for cleaning and ensuring the ecological balance of the territories of the Absheron Peninsula contaminated with oil and gas.

The Maria Skladovskaya-Curie scholarship and grant program will allow Usniya Nejati to conduct experiments at leading universities and research institutes in Europe, especially in Germany, during the year.
