February 19, Fineko/abc.az. The final investment decision on the construction of the Shafag solar power plant (Sunrise) in Jabrayil district will be made in the 2nd half of this year, ABC.AZ reports, quoting bp’s vice president for Caspian region Bakhtiyar Aslanbayli.

He added that minor technical and commercial issues are currently being worked out.

Aslanbeyli added that innovative solutions for the project are expected to be laid this year.

Implementation of the project of construction of a solar power plant with capacity of 240 MW is expected by the end of 2025.
