February 20, Fineko/abc.az. In 2023, 82,300 new jobs were opened in the country. 91.8% of the jobs created during this period were opened in the non-governmental sector.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that 79.7% of newly created jobs are in the city of Baku, 1.3% in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, 19% in other regions, including 3.6% in Absheron-Khizi, 2.4% in Guba-Khachmaz, 1.9% in Ganja-Dashkesan, 1.8% in Sheki-Zagatala, 1.7% in Shirvan-Salyan, 1.6% in Gazakh-Tovuz, 1.4% in Lankaran-Astara, 1.3% in Central Aran, 1.2% in Karabakh region, 0.9% in Eastern Zangezur, 0.7% in Mil-Mugan, 0.5% in Mountain-Shirvan economic regions.
