February 20, Fineko/abc.az. British company Anglo Asian Mining (AAM), which produces gold, silver and copper in Azerbaijan, has confirmed the significant mineralization of copper at Kharkhar deposit.

ABC.AZ reports that the mining company informed that according to the standard of the Joint Ore Reserves Committee (JORC), Kharkhar deposit has a copper mineralization zone in the amount of 24.9 million tons with an average content of 0.48%.

Anglo Asian Mining reported that there are 106,000 tons of copper in the mineralization zone with total volume of 22 million tons.

The company noted that the total reserves of minerals at the field amount to 119,000 tons.
