February 20, Fineko/abc.az. In 2023, the largest number of jobs were created in Baku compared with the districts and cities of the country.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that 65,563 jobs were created in Baku.

The largest number of new jobs in Baku were opened in Nasimi (12,851) and Narimanov (11,823) districts. This is followed by Absheron district (1,521 jobs), Sumgait (1,380 jobs), Ganja city (935 jobs), Nakhchivan (907 jobs), Khachmaz (733 jobs), Guba (704 jobs), Shirvan (698 jobs), Gabala (658 jobs), Lachin (625 jobs).

Last year, the least number of jobs were created in Khojaly (6 jobs), Ujara (7 jobs), Lerik, Gubadli (8 jobs). 7 jobs have been created in Pirallakhi district of Baku, 2 jobs in Julfa district of Nakhchivan, 10 jobs in Ordubad and Shahbuz districts, and 13 new jobs in Khizi.
