February 20, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan exported 91,229 tons of fresh apples for $52.8 million in 2023.

ABC.AZ reports that compared with 2022, country’s exports in quantitative terms grew by 10.9%, while revenues by 10%.

The main export was to Russia. In particular, in 2023, Azerbaijan exported 79,548 tons of fresh apples to the Russian Federation (an increase of 3.2%) in the amount of $51 million 752.8 thousand (an increase of 3.1%). In general, Russia accounted for 87.2% of apple exports from Azerbaijan.

In 2022, Azerbaijan exported 82,291 thousand tons of fresh apples worth $52 million 8.7 thousand. Compared to 2021, exports in quantitative terms increased by 23.1%, while revenue increased by 39.2%.
