February 21, Fineko/abc.az. The Ordubad State Historical and Cultural Reserve has been established.

ABC.AZ reports that President Ilham Aliyev signed a corresponding decree.

According to the decree, the reserve is being created to better protect the monuments located on the territory of Ordubad city, which are examples of the historical and cultural heritage of Azerbaijan.

The territory of the Ordubad Historical and Architectural Reserve has been declared a state historical and cultural reserve.

In accordance with the document, the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan was instructed to establish and approve the boundaries and protection zones of the reserve within three months, to establish a special regime of its territory within four months and inform the President of the country, take the necessary measures for the logistical support of the reserve, as well as resolve other issues arising from this order.
