February 21, Fineko/abc.az. The volume of retail trade turnover in 2023 amounted to 35.57 bn manats. The volume of products sold by business entities of the non-governmental sector exceeded the level of the previous year by 7.7% and amounted to 35.504 bn manats.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Baku City Statistics Department that this is 7.6% more than in 2022 at comparable prices.

The cost of food, beverages and tobacco products sold in the retail chain in January-December 2023 increased by 2.3% compared to January-December 2022 and amounted to 20.695 bn manats, and the volume of non-food products increased by 16.0% and amounted to 14.877 bn manats.
