February 26, Fineko/abc.az. In 2023, the names of the districts with the largest number of tourists in hotels and hotel-type facilities became known in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that Guba district is in the first place among the districts and cities outside Baku.

In Guba district, this figure reached 113,000 people. Among them are 80,500 Azerbaijanis and 32,500 foreigners.

Gabala district took the 2nd place with 79,800 people, Lankaran district - the 3rd with 74,000 people.

67,400 people were accommodated in the hotels of Shabran district, 62,000 people in Gusar district.

Among these districts, only in Gabala district the number of foreign citizens was higher than the number of Azerbaijani citizens.
