February 27, Fineko/abc.az. Coffee exports from Kenya exceeded 47,000 tons with total production of 48,600 tons a year, ABC.AZ reports, referring to Simon Chelugui, Cabinet Secretary for Cooperatives & Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development.

He added that in 2023, the country earned more than $251 million from coffee exports.

"Despite the many challenges facing our coffee industry, including fluctuations in international prices and climate uncertainty, Kenyan coffee continues to maintain its reputation as a producer of unprecedented quality on the global stage," Chelugui said during the Kenya-Colombia Coffee Technical Cooperation Forum.
