February 27, Fineko/ An increase in the average number of participants in public procurement is one of the indicators of increasing the level of participation of business entities in procurement, eliminating bureaucratic barriers and ensuring accessibility.

ABC.AZ reports that Mammad Abbasbeyli, the head of the State Service for Antimonopoly Supervision & Consumer Market Control, informed about this.

He noted that last year the total number of purchases reached 12,483 last year.

"This is 3.1% more than in 2022. The average number of participants in public procurement in 2023 was 3.9.
