February 29, Fineko/abc.az. A new section is to appear on the main chat page in WhatsApp.

ABC.AZ reports with a link to WABetaInfo portal that it will open a QR code that will allow you to quickly exchange numbers with people.

The QR code in WhatsApp is needed so that you do not enter numbers for a long time and do not create new contacts. It is enough to scan the code with the phone's camera — the contact will automatically appear in the messenger's notebook. Now, to open this QR code, go to Settings and click on the code symbol (located to the right of your avatar and name).

In the new version, the button that launches the QR code will be moved to the "Chats" section. It will be located next to the "Add new chat", "Camera" and "Search" buttons.

At the moment, users can share their QR code from the app settings, but this new feature will offer a more direct and accessible method right from the chat tab interface.
