Mitigation of conditions of indefinite employment contract proposed

February 29, Fineko/ The Azerbaijani Ombudsman wants to ease the conditions relating to the indefinite employment contract.

ABC.AZ reports that this was reflected in the report of the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) for 2023, submitted for discussion at today's meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Human Rights.

It was suggested that a fixed-term employment contract should be considered an indefinite employment contract if it lasts continuously for more than 3 years.

Currently, this period is 5 years in the legislation.
