February 29, Fineko/abc.az. The most important news of 2024 will be the launch of the Karabakh University in Khankendi.

ABC.AZ reports that Minister of Science & Education Emin Amrullayev stated about this during his speech at the Academy of Sciences’ general meeting.

"That is, in September we should attract 1,000 young people to study at the Karabakh University. We believe we’ll achieve this," he added.

The minister noted that establishment of the Azerbaijani-Turkish University was the second important initiative this year: "This university will serve to strengthen fraternal ties between the countries in the field of science and education. In the next 7-8 months, a higher education institution will be created."
