March 1, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are increasing in Friday’s trading after a rise in February.

The price of May’s Brent crude futures at the London ICE Futures Exchange grew by $0.34 (0.42%) to $82.25 per barrel by 09:44. Following the trading on February 29, Brent crude futures for May fell by $0.24 (0.29%) to $81.91 per barrel.

The price of WTI oil futures for April on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) increased by $0.27 (0.35%) to $78.53 per barrel by 09:44. Following the trading on February 29, the price of WTI oil futures for April dropped by $0.28 (0.36%) to $78.26 per barrel.

In February, the price of Brent grew by 2.34% and WTI by 3.18%.
