March 1, Fineko/abc.az. The premiums and compensation payments on voluntary accident and disease insurance have increased in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Central Bank that this January, the premiums on this type of insurance amounted to 305,000 manats (93,000 manats or 44% more versus January 2023 – 212,000 manats).

Compensations on this type of insurance amounted to 8,000 manats (4 manats or 2-fold more against January 2023 – 4,000 manats).

The loss rate for January 2024 was 2.6% and for January 2023 - 1.8% (growth of 0.8% versus 2023).
