March 5, Fineko/abc.az. In 2023, the flow of tourists in Azerbaijan has been restored by 65% compared with the period before the COVID-19 pandemic.
ABC.AZ informs that this is stated in Cabinet Ministers’ report for 2023.
In 2023, 13.9% of tourists came to Azerbaijan for 1 day, 19.3% for 1-3 days, 24.4% for 4-7 days, 8.9% for 8-14 days, 1.8% for 15-21 days, and 31.7% stayed in the country for more than 21 days.
In 2023, 2,085,800 people from 187 countries came to Azerbaijan, or 30.2% more foreigners and stateless persons than in 2022.
