March 13, Fineko/abc.az. Germany purchased 3,673.6 tons of peeled hazelnuts in Azerbaijan last year.

ABC.AZ reports that Azerbaijan’s exports to the Western European country grew by 12% compared with 2022.

The value of exported nuts as a wholegrew by 14% year-on-year and reached $22.21 million.

In 2022, hazelnuts were sold at price of $5.948 per ton, and in 2023 - at $6.045, which means a rise of $97 or 2% per ton.
