March 18, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan produced building materials for 173.9 million manats ($102.2 million) for Jan-Feb 2024 (35.1% more versus Jan-Feb 2023), ABC.AZ reports, referring to the State Statistics Committee.

According to statistics, the country produced 546,700 tons of cement (a rise of 29.8%), 6,300 cu m of prefabricated concrete structures (a rise of 50%), 9,100 tons of asphalt (a drop of 37.7%).

In addition, the production of building bricks reached 84,400 cu m (increase: 3.7%), construction glass – 1.76 million sq (a rise of 30.3%).

Azerbaijan manufactured 551,000 tons of cement clinker (decline: 17%), 11,200 tons of construction gypsum (a rise of 23.1%), 731.6 million tons of finished concrete mix (a rise of 59.7%), 3,900 tons of construction lime (decline: 56.7%).

In 2023, Azerbaijan produced building materials for 1.18 bn manats ($694.3 million), which is 31.8% more than in 2022.
