March 18, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan has slightly increased exports of raw aluminum to Japan in 2023.

ABC.AZ reports that last year, the country exported 6,598 tons of aluminum as raw materials. The export value of this non-ferrous metal amounted to $13.387 million.

The exports grew by 29% compared with 2022.

In 2022, Azerbaijan exported 5,102 tons of raw aluminum for $12.73 million to Japan, the State Statistics Committee informs.

The price of this metal fell in 2023 compared with 2022. So, if in the previous year a ton cost $2,367, then next year it soared and fell to $2,029.
