March 19, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Feb 2024, our country exported 33,331 tons of persimmons for $26,380.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Customs Committee that compared with the 2023 same term, country’s persimmon exports grew by $11,814 or 81% in value terms and by 13,327 tons or 67% in quantitative terms.

In two months of 2023, Azerbaijan exported 20,004 tons of persimmons for $14,575.

For Jan-Feb 2024, the average selling price of 1 kg of persimmon from Azerbaijan abroad was $0.79 or 1.35 manats.

Last year, this price was $0.73 or 1.24 manats.
