March 19, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Feb 2024, Azerbaijan exported 18,335 tons of apples for $12.104 million to foreign countries.

ABC.AZ reports that apple exports grew by $1.896 million or 19% in value terms and by 2,392 tons in quantitative terms, or 15%, against the 2023 same term. Over Jan-Feb 2023, country’s apple exports abroad reached 15,943 tons for $10.274.

Over Jan-Feb 2024, the average selling price of 1 kg of apples from Azerbaijan abroad was $0.66 or 1.12 manats. Last year this price was $0.64 or 1.09 manats.

In other words, compared with 2023, the average selling price for purchases from Azerbaijan grew by 3% this year.
