These conditions include the age of cars no more than 15 years, the presence of red or white color, etc. Along with this, taximeters will be installed on cars operating taxis. Passengers believe that after installing taximeters, taxi prices will rise.

Speaking with ABC.AZ about future taxi prices and general innovations, expert Aslan Asadov believes that installing a taximeter is one of the important elements for taxis.

"Because the process we are talking about is applied in all countries of the world. The most ideal unit of measurement is considered to be a taximeter. Offers to raise the price also do not give hope, after connecting to the taximeter, there may be a price increase for a certain time, but everyone, knowing the price, how much will be from point A to point B, will calculate the amount. Thus, no one can be deceived. Therefore, I also do not consider price increases inevitable. This is not convincing, perhaps it will be temporary. And then we have to go through the same procedures as the most advanced companies in setting vehicle tolls."
