April 4, Fineko/abc.az. The premiums and compensation payments on voluntary disability insurance have increased in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the CBA that for Jan-Feb 2024, the premiums on this type of insurance amounted to 671,000 manats (405,000 manats, or 2.5-fold more against Jan-Feb 2023 – 266,000 manats).

Payments on this type of insurance totaled 37,000 manats (33,000 manats or 9.5-fold more than a year earlier – 4,000 manats).

The loss rate was 5%. The loss rate increased by 4% this year (loss rate for 2013 was 1%).
