April 6, Fineko/abc.az. The premiums on voluntary accident and disease insurance fees have increased in Azerbaijan, while compensation payments observed decline.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank that for Jan-Feb 2024 the premiums on this type of insurance totaled 620,000 manats (180,000 manats, or 41% more versus Jan-Feb 2023 – 440,000 manats.

Payments on this type of insurance reached 20,000 manats (2,000 manats or 9% less against Jan-Feb 2023 – 22,000 manats).

The loss rate for Jan-Feb 2024 was 3% (decline of 2%) and for Jan-Feb 2023 - 5%.
