Value of oil goes up, and Brent is at $89.92 a barrel

April 8, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are falling in Monday’s trading after a rise last week.

The price of June’s Brent crude futures at the London ICE Futures Exchange decreased by $1.25 (1.37%) to $89.92 per barrel by 09:08. Following the trading on April 5, Brent crude futures for June rose by $0.52 (0.57%) to $91.17 per barrel.

The price of WTI crude oil futures for May on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) fell by $1.16 (1.33%) to $85.75 per barrel by 09:08. Following the trading on April 5, the price of WTI oil futures for May increased by $0.31 (0.37%) to $86.91 per barrel.

Over the past week, Brent crude oil has risen by 4.79% and WTI oil by 4.50%.
