Azerbaijan's Economic Council discusses goals and challenges for 2024-30

April 9, Fineko/ The Economic Council of Azerbaijan has conducted a regular meeting.

ABC.AZ reports that under the leadership of Prime Minister Ali Asadov the meeting participants discussed the current situation in the field of macroeconomic and financial stability and policy directions, including the main directions of monetary policy, development of the banking and insurance sector, agricultural production, food security, efficient use of land, agricultural exports, tasks and goals for 2024-2030 and other issues.

The meeting participants heard reports from Central Bank’s chairman Taleh Kazimov, Agriculture Minister Majnun Mammadov, State Customs Committee’s chairman Shahin Bagirov and Deputy Minister of Economy Samad Bashirli.

Following the meeting, the necessary decisions were made and appropriate instructions were given.
