April 9, Fineko/abc.az. The industrial enterprises of Azerbaijan and private entrepreneurs working in this field produced industrial output for 15.7 bn mantas for Jan-Mar 2024.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that compared with Q1 of 2023, production in the oil & gas sector increased by 0.2% and in the non-oil/gas sector by 7.8%.

64.5% of industrial output is produced in the mining sector, 29% in the processing sector, 5.7% in the production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam, 0.8% in the water supply, waste treatment and recycling sector.

In the mining sector, commercial oil production decreased by 6%, while commercial gas production grew by 5.4%.
