Prices for butter, frozen fish and sausage have risen – List

This March, an increase in prices for certain food products compared with the previous month was recorded for rice, sausages, fresh and frozen fish, butter and olive oil, lemons, tangerines, apples, pears, quinces, pomegranates, walnuts, hazelnuts, chestnuts, cabbage, tomatoes, pumpkin, beetroot, garlic, onions, potatoes, tea. The decline in prices was mainly observed for flour, buckwheat, chicken meat, eggs, table margarine, corn oil, oranges, bananas, carrots.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that no significant changes were recorded on prices for other food products.

The consumer price index for non-food products in March 2024 made up 100.0% compared with the previous month, and for Jan-Mar - 101.4% versus Jan-Mar 2023. The CPI for paid services to the population in March 2024 made up 100.1% against the previous month, and for Jan-Mar — 102.5% versus the 2023 same term. In March, compared with the previous month, an increase in prices for paid services rendered to the population was mainly observed in prices for international passenger transportation by air, intra-republican tours, hotel accommodation, dental, hairdressing and cosmetology services.

No significant change was registered on prices for other paid services.
