WB: Growth of non-energy sector in Azerbaijan to be up to 4%

April 15, Fineko/abc.az. The growth of the non-energy sector in Azerbaijan is expected to be up to 4% in 2024. This is primarily linked with active expansion of the construction sector.

ABC.AZ informs that these theses were reflected in the World Bank's April report on the economy of Europe and Central Asia entitled "Unlocking the Power of the Private Sector".

The report says that public sector investments in construction affect growth. Growth rate is expected to continue in other industries.

In addition, the WB forecasts economic growth in Azerbaijan at 2.3% in 2024 and 2.4% in 2025 and 2026.
