April 15, Fineko/abc.az. More than 4.3 million foreign tourists visited Türkiye. Among them, citizens of Iran, Russia and Bulgaria were in the first place in terms of number.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to a report published by the Turkish Ministry of Culture & Tourism as part of the Tourism Week.

According to the Ministry, the number of tourists in the first two months of this year is 12% higher against the same term of 2023.

So, for Jan-Feb 2023, 3.8 million foreign tourists visited Türkiye. In general, 56.693 million people entered the fraternal country for tourism purposes last year.

The cities of Istanbul, Edirne, Antalya, Artvin and Agra provinces aroused the greatest interest among foreign tourists.
