April 16, Fineko/abc.az. By the end of this year, changes will be made to the relevant legislation regarding the full digitization of birth, marriage, and death certificates and ID cards issued in Azerbaijan.
ABC.AZ reports that Digital Development & Transport Minister Rashad Nabiyev said about this at the Insurtech Summit held in Baku today.
He added that the aforementioned documents (certificates and IDs) cover about 40% of the public services:
"More than 250 changes will be made to the legislation in this regard. With these changes, the vast majority of transactions between the state and business, between the state and citizen, will now be transferred to electronic format," the minister underlined.
