ABC.AZ reports that jeweler Elnur Huseynov says that in recent days many people have become victims of fraud when buying gold.

The jeweler noted that in addition to copper, other substances are added to the composition of such products. Gold sellers say such gold containing copper is very easy to hide. Buyers said that they often encounter such situations and pay attention to it when buying gold.

Togrul Abbaskuliyev, the chairman of the Association of Jewelers of Azerbaijan, said that because of frequency of such cases, it is planned to establish a special body for control of precious stones and metals in the near future.
