April 17, Fineko/abc.az. Since the commissioning of the Baku-Supsa or Western Export pipeline until April 1, 2024, 100 million tons of oil were transported through it, ABC.AZ reports, referring to SOCAR's post on Facebook social network.

"25 years ago, on this day, Baku-Supsa oil export pipeline was put into operation with the participation of great leader Heydar Aliyev," the post says.

Baku–Supsa pipe originates from the Sangachal terminal and stretches to the Georgian terminal Supsa. This belt is an integral part of the oil export system created by Azerbaijan in a short time after the signing of the Contract of the Century.
