April 30, Fineko/abc.az. The data unveiled on premiums and payments on voluntary life insurance in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that for Jan-Mar 2024 the premiums on this type of insurance amounted to 155.32 million manats (23.942 million manats, or 18% more against Jan-Mar 2023 – 131.378 million manats).

Compensations on this type of insurance were paid for 96.417 million manats (41.252 million manats, or 75% more than a year earlier).

The insurance payments were made for 55.165 million manats.

The loss rate for Jan-Mar 2024 was 62% (a rise of 20%) versus the Jan-Mar 2023 indicator of 42%.
