April 30, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan's total exports in the first quarter of 2024 amounted to $6 bn and exports in the non-oil sector - $673.7 million, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the April issue of the Export Review.

Over Jan-Mar 2024, country’s food exports totaled $195.3 million.

Over the past months of 2024, cotton exports grew by 47%, exports of fruits and vegetables by 15.3%, exports of fats and oils of vegetable and animal origin by 7.2%, and exports of organic chemical compounds by 2.1%.

In the 1st quarter of 2024, the statistical value of joint exports of agricultural and agro-industrial products increased by 17.8% up to $210.7 million. The value of the products of the agro—industrial complex, which occupies a significant place in the composition of non-oil/gas exports, increased by 7.8% to $58.8 million.
