May 1, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Mar 2024, 513,500 people from 171 countries arrived in Azerbaijan (39.2% more against Jan-Mar 2023).

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that Russia became the country from which the largest number of citizens arrived in Azerbaijan (147,400 people).

Türkiye is in 2nd place with 98,900 arrivals, Iran - 3rd place with 52,900 people.

In three months of 2024, 37,100 Indian citizens were received. And the number of citizens who arrived from neighboring Georgia amounted to 24,700 people.

The number of arrivals from Saudi Arabia totaled 12,400 people, from Pakistan — 12,300 people, from the UAE — about 10,500 people.

The least quantity of foreigners came from Syria (139 people), Norway (308 people) and Switzerland (343 people).
