May 1, Fineko/abc.az. This year, five consecutive days in June will be non-working in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that the National Salvation Day is celebrated on June 15.

In accordance with Cabinet Ministers’ Resolution from December 9, 2023 "On determining the days of the holidays Novruz, Ramadan and Gurban for 2024", June 16 and 17 of this year are defined as the days of celebration of the Gurban Holiday.

According to the Labor Code, if weekends coincide with holidays that are considered non-working days, this day off is postponed to the next working day immediately after the holiday.

Since this year June 15th falls on Saturday and June 16th on Sunday, June 18th and 19th will be non-working days. Thus, June 15, 16, 17, 18 and 19 in a row will be non-working days.
