May 3, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Feb 2024, Azerbaijan imported 222,384 smartphones for $61.158 million from abroad.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that the import figures in quantitative terms are 17.894 million manats (41.4%) more and in quantitative terms – 68,706 phones (44.7%).

For the first 2 months of 2023, the country imported 153,678 smartphones for $43.264 million.

This means that the import price for 1 smartphone was about $275 (468 manats).

The average import price of a smartphone decreased by $7 (11 manats) for Jan-Feb 2024, in other words, by 2.3%.
