May 3, Fineko/abc.az. European Commission’s director general for neighborhood & enlargement negotiations, Gert Jan Koopman, has arrived in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that Koopman wrote about this on social network X.

"I arrived in Azerbaijan to discuss EU-Azerbaijan cooperation on COP29, mine clearance and other areas. The visit began with a productive meeting with Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan Hikmet Hajiyev and Deputy Foreign Minister Fuad Rzayev. This is an important opportunity to build a positive agenda in the field of green energy, regional relations and peace in the South Caucasus," he said.
