Citizens of these countries detained at entrance to Russia

May 3, Fineko/abc.az. Citizens of Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan are detained upon entry into the Russian Federation, ABC.AZ reports, referring to Russian Telegram channels.

Uzbek migrants also have problems crossing the border.

Thousands of migrants from Central Asia lined up at checkpoints at Russian airports.

Currently, work is underway to digitize and filter all those who come to Russia from Central Asian countries.

Earlier, the Foreign Ministries of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan recommended their citizens to refrain from traveling to Russia. Tajikistan has sent a note to Russia on this issue. The Uzbek Foreign Ministry denied information that the country's citizens face problems crossing the Russian border.
