May 8, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Apr 2024, Azerbaijan returned 59.2 million manats of VAT paid by consumers who are individuals for goods and services purchased from persons engaged in retail trade, catering and medical activities.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Tax Service that the amount of VAT paid for residential and non-residential premises purchased non-cash from persons engaged in construction activities in the country within the VAT refund project for Jan-Apr amounted to 6.5 million manats.

As a result of the VAT refund project, the share of non-cash payments in the field of retail trade, catering and medical services has significantly increased.
