May 13, Fineko/abc.az. The United States has taken measures against 37 Chinese companies, including allegedly for supplying Russia with goods subject to export restrictions, ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Bureau of Industry & Security of the U.S. Department of Commerce.

According to Bureau’s statement, 26 enterprises are blacklisted for "involvement in the supply of Russia" of goods subject to export restrictions.

"Such actions are contrary to the national security and foreign policy interests of the U.S.," the statement says.

Another 8 Chinese companies are listed for involvement in the incident with the Chinese balloon, which was shot down by a missile within the airspace of the U.S. in February 2023.

Three more companies are included in the list for supporting the PRC's program to create such balloons.

The statement claims that such actions are also "contrary to the national security and foreign policy interests of the U.S."
