May 14, Fineko/abc.az. The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) invested 13 billion euro in various industries last year.

ABC.AZ reports that EBRD representative Elmin Ibrahimov said about this during his speech at the event “Azerbaijan & Italy for the sake of better food production" in Baku.

He noted that the EBRD operates in 40 countries. To date, the bank has invested in 7,000 projects.

"The EBRD has been operating in Azerbaijan for 30 years and is an active partner of the Azerbaijani government. We also have initiatives in the private sector. Large investments have been made over the years. Investments have been made in the construction of power plants, logistics, small and medium-sized businesses. I think that today's event will be the basis for our further cooperation. We’re ready to consider any project," Ibrahimov emphasized.
