May 15, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Apr 2024, 5.23 bn manats were invested in fixed assets in Azerbaijan (11.8% more versus Jan-Apr 2023), ABC.AZ reports, referring to the State Statistics Committee.

Investments in the oil & gas sector grew by 6.2% and in the non-oil/gas sector by 15.2%.

2.828 bn manats or 54.1% of the investments used were in the production sector, 1.979 bn manats (37.8%) in the service sector, 422.2 million manats (8.1%) for the construction of residential buildings.

Domestic investments amounted to 4.21 bn manats, or 80.5% of investments directed to fixed assets. 3.687 bn manats or 70.5% of investments directed to fixed assets were spent directly on construction and installation works.
