May 15, Fineko/abc.az. An event dedicated to the withdrawal of Russian peacekeepers from Karabakh region of Azerbaijan has been held in Khojaly.

ABC.AZ reports that the event was attended by the Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijani Army, Colonel-General Kerim Veliyev and the First Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Ground Forces, Chief of the General Staff of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Russia, Colonel-General Yevgeny Nikiforov.

The event began with the performance of the anthems of both countries, after which a group of servicemen were awarded medals. After the official part, the concert program began.
